"Its not as if i thought you were accusing me, I was just stating it really."
Katrina grinned again, this time free of uncertainty. She liked this woman, this lady. "It's fine, m'lady," she said, tugging on her skirt. Well, crazy or not, she was a very likeable woman. Kat didn't think she was crazy... but that would explain much. No, the woman was just a dreamer, and she was different. It was refreshing, honestly. Being different never hurt anybody. Katrina was living proof of that.
"Thanks anyway. My friend Jazz, Jasmin, whatever you want to call her, would attack me with a shukusen or something. She doesn't like being made fun of. Not that a was making fun of you. okay, maybe I was, but just a little. But still."
Katrina laughed, a merry, musical laugh. "Well, I think it's good to be made fun of every now and then," Kat said, losing her inhibitions. "It keeps you humble. Well, it keeps me humble, in any case. Savin' your presence, lady." Katrina smiled, reaching up to make sure that her tight bun was still in place. Her thick, unruly black hair was no good for showbusiness, she could tell you that.
"Pretty much, I mean we wouldn't be having this conversation if I didn't, would we?"
Kat laughed again, shaking her head at her own folly. "That's true enough, miss," she said, accepting the coins and dropping them into the had with an extravagant gesture. "I thank ye very much, on behalf of all of us. It's a lot of money, really," she said, smiling. "You're very generous."
