Gah! The Spanish! The horror! Sacre Bleu!! Goodness, I'm taking French folks and I haven't learned anything yet, so I'm a bit low on the foreign languages thing, unless you really want to talk to me in mangled Hebrew. lol....that's what 8 years of private Jewish school can do. *stands up* Marching band is very fun, and I'll have you know I'm also in Concert/orchestra band.

Ahh!!! Spanish!!! This is me who ditched a second language for three years (french) and will now be taking German, starting tomorrow... And although I will not be taking anything musically related in high school (although I wanted to... Jazz band) I play the flute. The flute rocks!! And since our school years are divided differently than everyone elses, I shall be a freshman, but going into grade ten. MWAHAHAHA! (<=evil laugh for no reason... )

Cool. I take English 1st language, Afrikaans 2nd language and French 3rd Language. Hebrew.... sheesh, mine's way past the mangled stage. Was educated but over 10 different teachers for 6.5 years (I try not to take it personally) until my batmitzvah. Thank goodness. My teacher(the last one) was the devil of all hebrew teachers. God bless her poor soul. She still works at that same school. I pity all her students. Gosh, all the languages. Die Mc Nair, Mcnair!!! she makes me think of a vulture. Holidays.... how many days not Fhire/ Jazz?

I do the same, (Well DUH! I am in the same form as halo and Jazz, but whatever) I used to be able to speak Xhosa (BUT THAT IS A THING OF THE PAST, I cannot speak that language anymore, my grandfather can ((Which is KINDA creepy)) and my parents and my grandmother speak greek) But anyway, Afrikaans SUCKETH I hate that language. I have done it since Grade! One! and I still Can't! Speak! It!........ so thats bad And can I say, MULTITASKING Damien??? People want to walk and eat. Lets say that you have gone to the vending machine (Clicks for whoever installed that in the school) and you have bought a milo bar, for arguements sake (Yum!) and the buzzer goes in two minutes and you have to walk down to the Art Block (Clicks for Art! Shame on the Art Block being a MILE away from the main building.......) WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO EAT THAT CHOCOLATE ON THE WAY DOWN? ? I THINK YOU WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to all you music folks all I can say is: you have it all wrong! Art rules! Yay! Even though our art teacher is AN EVIL DICTATOR (Clicks for history by the way, best subject ever), it still rules the world. And French is better than Spanish And McNair looks like a hawk, whenever I see her I can hear hawk calls ("*squak*McNair McNair *squak*)

Yeah, well, you can actually draw, which I can't, except my special talent, drawing hamburgers(Don't bother asking...) I agree about the multi-tasking. But I must make my point. We are chicks, after all.... so it comes with it. How many times have we trekked down to art (even in the pouring rain) on a Day 4, eating Choccies from the marvellous vending machine? (Note: NEVER EVER try getting jelly tots out of that thing. they just get stuck!!!) I like Afrikaans. I started ACTUALLY learning it in Grade 3, but 7de Laan(SA Soapie) really helps. Fhire, you should watch it. Now I can actually understand Begripstoets and Gedigtes etc.
Okay, Yiddish is still the weirdest ever, for you Fhire. And Sruyt(Art teacher/dictator) is also a human pyramid upside down! She's rather large on the top and skinny on the bottom. Haha!!!
McNair is our headmistress, if you didn't get it. Yes, there are some rather hot PBHS boys, although there are some rumours about all day boys being gay......

Spanish rules all. Literally. It's one of the top most widely spoken languages in the world, and especially here in the USA, where you do get to use it lol.
Que bueno.
And as for the eating and walking thing....just stuff it in your bag, or pocket. Save it for later, when you have a sugar low lol.
Vending machines....ohhhh man. The took some of the vending machines out of our school. It's kinda annoying. Becuase now they're always sold out....yeah....
Sapphire....oh, Sapphire. USA be the Land o' Multitasking. I mean really, how many times have you been talking on the phone, talking to your parents, doing homework, IMing, and listening to music all at the same time? Good times....gooood times....
*sighs* and next year, all of my classes except for one will be AP. But! On the bright side, I'll get to graduate college a year early. woohoo!

lol....too true, too true. *does USA dance* We are masters of the Multitasking! even our guys can do it! ((lol...*wink))
French does rule Spanish!!! Tis the better language, because we shouldn't let all those lazy illegal immigrants destroy our American heritage! Did you know, they were thinking of having our NATIONAL ANTHEM in Spanish? HOw wrong is that!?!?! America = Melting Pot, yes, but we're not a pot of clay for the immigrants to do what they want! Besides, the Spanish spoken in the Americas is really different from the Spanish spoken in Spain, the origin of the language's true birth.

Oh ho!!! WE Have 11 official languages. Beat that!!!! Hey, this "country rivalry" is um, well, cliched. Anyways, I like French. and since I know a guy who went to Reunion, I know some pretty nasty French words... if you get my drift. Damien, we are on a sugar low when we walk down to art. It is like 5 kms from the main building. Whoever made it there, ought to be shot, as far as I'm concered. Fhire, our PE routine rocked!!! Good for us!!!! We had to do a floor routine in Phys. Ed. Oh fun, torturing our bodies doing tumbles etc. Gods, death to the evil PE teachers. Do you guys have to do PE?

We totally ruled. We kicked ass man! ANYWAY. You all are high. SA beats all. We are the multitasking maniacs. WE HAVE THE BIGGEST MAN-MADE FOREST IN THE WORLD, in which people work! It is called JHB for all you people who don't know. And, oh, Halo/Jazz? HAVE YOU EVER TASTED that snazzy bakeries chocolate croissants? (This is exceptionally off topic) To DIE for. I cannot remember what it is called. Boo! But Halo? We so ruled that PE class! Clicks for us. Did you see the matrics in RCL Assembly today? They were weird! They only have 16 official daqys of school left! Yay for them! Anyway, vending machines are gods gift to High Schools. And by the by, we are at a sugar low, as halo mentioned, on the way to the Art Block (I love the Art Block, I am so taking Art as a subject......I may be the only one.............) IT IS YEARS AWAY. And Art is usually like second last-last period, so we are pretty tired. Afrikaans is not the best. I DON'T (as I have said) like it. AND 7de laan has freaky plot lines!!!! AND EGOLI (Plek van goud - Place of Gold) OMG, have you SEEN that show lately? THEY ARE ALL DYING OF SOME RANDOM DISEASE!!!!!! AND NO-ONE KNOWS WHY!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a shame This was a random post Oh well SA rules *does SA melting pot, rainbow nation, 11 languages dance*

Well, the USA may not have 11 official languages, but there's tons of languages spoken here....going back to the Melting Pot idea. In fact, there's even different versions of American English spoken in different places of the country. It's quite fun to master all the accents; which I have almost done. I need to work on my Brooklyn/New Jersey accent. Woo....
As far as Spanish goes, it's not spoken all that different in Central/South America than in Spain. Spain uses some different verbs for some actions, and they speak with sort of a lisp (no joke). That's really the only differences.
And yes Halo, we have PE. I love PE. Although...we don't do 'tumbling' and stuff like that. It's mostly running, conditioning, weight lifting, and popular sports.

Oh, if you love them, you shoukd hear Fhire when she gets angry. Man, she cracks me up. And to go with the accent, she pulls the 'pissed' face. I can't help myself!!!! :-) Sorry Fhire, but it is so true.
Religious Studies is the most pointless subject I have ever come across. Not including PE.
