"Hello." This greeting, however, was much different than the one she had given to the Yamani. Nadia flicked a particularly annoying piece of curly brown hair that had been dancing in front of her face. "How are you doing?"
"Oh, so-so, the delegation is going to be tough, not that the Yamani people will be bad, but Gods, the preparation is scary. And long, it's going to be a rough trip across as well," she grinned at Nadia, "But I can't wait to go back!" she followed her gaze and listened for Nadia's reply to Wayne.
"Ama."
She raised her eyebrows, "Ama, pleasure to formally make your aquaintence," she tilted her head. Ama? This was new. Nadia, Ama, she hated it it when the Rogue did this! It was so confusing, what if she called Nadia Ama when she was being Nadia, or the other way around. She also noticed the curtness in Nadia's voice, she smiled encouragingly at Wayne, he didn't really deserve such curtness. He did really, unlike some people, deserve the respect that he was given.

"Ama."
He noticed that she locked eyes with him and left out the titles. It didn't mind him, and he was off duty, but her boldness amused him. Not many regular commoners would show such boldness, the very trait that he deemed essential sometimes. Wayne could definitely grow to like her, but something in her voice alerted him that she was probably a rogue, defying the authority.
He smiled. He wasn't here to make any arrests today, but he had to constantly remind himself. "Ama," he said. "Pleasure to meet you. Isn't it a lovely day?"
"Oh, so-so, the delegation is going to be tough, not that the Yamani people will be bad, but Gods, the preparation is scary. And long, it's going to be a rough trip across as well. But I can't wait to go back!"
Wayne laughed cheerfully. "I up for some vacation, and I love the sea. But I'm afraid tthe rest of the delegation will be tough for me as well, especially if you include the possibility I'll get lost in the city and miss most of the delegation. The Yamani people are particularly hard to read, so it's very hard to see if they're plotting anything. And not to mean that you're plotting anything, but you, Lady Sapphire, are very talented at masking your feelings, too."

Sapphire grinned at him, "Aw, you'll never get lost with me around. I know that city like the back of my hand. I wouldn't let anyone get lost, how would that make me look? And as for the sea, not so much, I hate the ocean, motion sickness at it's finest." she tucked a loose curl behind her ear, thinking of the upcoming trip, she couldn't wait to see her country again. Tortall was her home now, but the Yamani Islands would always be special. It was, in Sapphire's oppinion, the most beautiful country in the world.
"The Yamani people are particularly hard to read, so it's very hard to see if they're plotting anything. And not to mean that you're plotting anything, but you, Lady Sapphire, are very talented at masking your feelings, too."
She smirked and shook her head, "It's not that difficult once you know the people, and if you've lived with them your entire life. Though I do understand what you mean. It makes them scary opponents in delegation, which, in turn, makes my job harder, or easier, considering which way you look at it. " She smiled, "And I am not good at masking my feelings, well not the best, thats because of too many years around you lot. " She grinned at him and 'Ama'

((Sorry for the wait!))
Out of the corners of her eyes, Nadia watched as the the K'miri fighter left, with another K'miri who was significantly older. Probably her mother. Nadia had to fight back a smile as she watched the younger teen being taken out of the pub. So much for her curiosity.
But what was more interesting to Nadia was the Yamani girl. The one with the icy glare and short black hair. In any case, whoever she was, she was leaving. But Nadia didn't doubt that she would see her again. She was there for a reason.
Turning the bulk of her attention back to Sapphire and the man, Nadia tilted her head slightly to listen to Fhire's response.
"Oh, so-so, the delegation is going to be tough, not that the Yamani people will be bad, but Gods, the preparation is scary. And long, it's going to be a rough trip across as well," she grinned at Nadia, "But I can't wait to go back!"

Listening to the conversation, Nadia smiled slightly. It was evident that Sapphire was exceedingly excited to go back, and Wayne seemed excited and nervous, going over.
Then, suddenly with an overly solemn face, she looked at Sapphire sternly, "A little nervousness makes you better in everything. Ever heard of the goatherd debater…" and with that, keeping the rest of her face stern, she raised her eyebrows comically and slowly nodded twice, as if to say, "It is true, I swear to it!"
Nadia slowly grinned, and as her eyes turned mischievous, she started giggling. Oh, how good it was to truly laugh. "You'll do fine, and you'll have a great time, I know it!"
But this Wayne, if he was Sapphire's friend, he couldn't be the worst of the crop, yet Nadia wouldn't trust him. Not now.
"Ama, pleasure to formally make your aquaintence."
Nadia smiled slightly at Sapphire and in turn, cocked one eyebrow.
"Ama," he said. "Pleasure to meet you. Isn't it a lovely day?"
"Oh yes, it is. I trust you have been enjoying it?" Her voice was sweet now, and her gaze was focused on Wayne.
