Elyssa Vetinari stormed into the Dancing Dove with a sour look on her face.
She was in a bad mood. The regulars of the Dove all raised their eyebrows at usually cheerful Lyssa and decided it was best to steer clear of her for a while. The bar-tender smiled at her and handed her a glass of wine. She had never realised how often she came to the Dove, but looking at it then, she realised it must have been quite often. She forked over the money and sighed. Life was supposedly good. Well it would have been had it not been raining a torrential downpour, which caused her usually wavy locks to frizz up and made her stunning new shows covered in mood.
Things at the shop were terribly hectic too. There were customers in all the time, El and Rae barely had time to have a cup of tea, let alone chat. Speaking of her friend, where was she? Rae had just run down to the bead shop to get some specifics for a new dress, but she was going to meet El at the Dove afterwards. They had a lot to gossip about, so El hoped she'd hurry. She grinned at the thought, all ideas about moving to a place with no rain or people forgotten. Today Felix had come by the store.......
She shook her head and walked over to a nice table by the fireplace and sipped her wine. Her terribly over priced, but terribly good wine. She spotted her friend running in through the doors to escape the terrible weather. She grinned and waved slightly, so Rae would see her. Sure, things were hectic and expensive, but you know what they say: The best things in life are always free.
((There! It is terrible. But it is there))

Rae was so tired. So tired that she could have fallen asleep right there and then, bad weather and all. She ran from shop doorway to doorway, in a half-hearted attempt to get out of the torrential downpour, even just for a few seconds. Things at the shop had been unbelievably hectic. So many things to do, so little time.
Finally, the bead shop was in sight! Rae dashed into the comforting warmness of the shop. She briskly got all that she needed, payed and rushed out, back into the downpour. When she thought that she could not get wetter than what she already was, she saw the Dove. Drawing all her energy up, Rae sprinted to the door and pushed it open, making a huge commotion. Rae grinned sheepishly and saw Elyssa waving slightly from a table in the far corner.
She walked over to El, dripping rainwater on the floor as she went. She plopped down into the free seat next to her and blew out a huge sigh. "Geogeous weather, don't you think?" Rae said, with a hint of sarcasm. She looked around her, mesmirised by all the laughing and chattering. If you wanted atmosphere, here it was.
